Revenue Streams

Next to playing matches, it is important that our marketplace enables players to buy, trade, rent out or auction their assets. This also creates an opportunity for revenue. For every transaction made, Crystale receives a transaction fee. We believe that with variable transaction fees we can control user growth scalability. The lower and upper limits are 0 and 5% respectively. Crystale also receives royalties whenever an asset is sold on the secondary market(s).

These are net fees as Immutable X takes 2% fee on all secondary sales. We take these fees for our account as they are part of the operating costs. More on this in the Technology chapter.

All players can get rewarded by challenging other players and will receive rewards for completing certain (time-sensitive) challenges. If a player doesn’t have the asset to complete a specific challenge, they have the option to rent the one that is required. Crystale receives rental fees of 3% for the days the asset is effectively rented out. Additionally, Crystale will also implement the Battle Pass system. With the Battle Pass we want to enable players who truly love the game to obtain exclusive NFTs which are exclusively accessible with the pass.

The different streams of revenue:

- Royalty Fees (fixed 7%)

- Transactional Fees (Variable 0 – 5%);

- Rental fees (3%);

- Product sales on the marketplace;
